Plumbing woes

Just at Christmas, Stuart and I finally finished repairing the wall that he and James had ripped out to fix our plumbing, many moons ago.  Which, of course, is why the shower fixtures we decided not to replace have now started pretending to be fountains. :(

Poor Stuart. He headed off to Rona to get a new set of faucet and taps this morning.  Then he drove out of the city to borrow crimping tools from our friend. Meanwhile, I poked around the Rona website and found a better set at a different Rona and bullied him into going to get it instead. Now there's a new hole in the wall.  Our set of hex wrenches has every size except the one that holds on the old faucet. And he just discovered that one of his drill bits is toast.

And the old set isn't even off yet.

I predict that the shower will not be re-assembled by bed time, but I could be wrong.  Thank god his class finished on Saturday - if he had this AND homework, the world might end.
