I have to start by saying that I don't normally sleep on my back. I spend most of my unconscious time switching from one side to the other, with the odd little bit on my stomach or very occasionally on my back, for variety. And yet, I've had the same weird dream event a couple of times now in the last few weeks.
I'll be sleeping on my back when I wake up suddenly. I have a very brief but very strong impression that Ursa is lying across my chest and neck and what wakes me up is that I can't breathe. Of course, Ursa is sleeping somewhere on the floor no where near me and I can breathe just fine.
Am I developing sleep apnea and this is my unconscious brain's attempt to explain it? I'm kinda hope that whatever it is resolves itself and goes away, or it could start to get kinda freaky.
