Well, another Christmas is over. I survived the horrible beds at Stuart's parents' house. I survived the crush of Boxing Day at my parents' house. Ursa has been amazingly well behaved; only two shortbread and a mince meat tart stolen. I got: a Skull plushie, a Richard fleece blanket, a set of grown-up kitchen knives, some make-up stuff, the Planet Earth DVD box set, some books and assorted bits I'm forgetting.
Ursa got a soft, squishy dog bed with her name embroidered on it and a new toy for destroying empty water bottles. Stuart likes his kilt and grinned all through a parties' worth of comments on his "skirt".
It's been a good one. Now to make it through New Year's Eve!
