Last year, Stuart and I bought a silk comforter and for the most part, I am very happy with it. My only complaint is that, even in the quilt cover, it's too darn slippery. As far as I'm concerned, the top edge of the blanket should cover my shoulder, neck and maybe even the bottom of my ear. I keep waking up feeling uncomfortable because the darn thing is just coming to the top of my arm. My neck is stiff this morning and I have the sneaking suspicion that in my sleep, I was trying to keep the comforter pinned between my shoulder and ear. Ouch!
The other possibility, that Stuart, who likes to hang the lower third of his tall self off the bottom of the bed, is pulling the quilt down to cover his feet, is equally hard to deal with. I KNEW I should have either bought the King size quilt or two singles! Sigh.
In related news, it's snowing hard enough here that the view out my office window is distinctly white. Winter carries on...
