It's Christmas afternoon at the Elle's and the food preparation is madly underway. Fortunately, I'm still considered a guest AND I've succumbed to someone's germs. I'm fighting it with self-Reiki and massive doses of vitamin C, but I'm still sniffy and have a sore throat. Everyone seems to be sick, so it's hard to say whether this is one in particular or some dastardly mix of them all. Sigh.
Stuart seems to be very happy with his big gift this year. My parents, Grandma and I chipped in and bought him a Canon G10 camera. This is about the best compromise so far devised between the convenience of a "point and shoot" and the quality of an SLR. He was playing with it all last night and I've heard him describe the salient features 3 or 4... or possibly 5 times now.
My gifties have been a bit slim this year. I got my nasty weather pants from Stuart, as well as a copy of Dead Man and some more hankies (handy, considering the cold!) Mom forgot to wrap my presents and Megan forgot to bring hers. Sigh. Oh well, watching Ella unwrap all of hers was pretty much all the excitment I could handle.
Lunch is about ready, so I should cut this off. Cheers all!
