"Why?", I hear you asking. For one thing, our Colour Theory course ended on Thursday. Yes, that's right, the hours of homework, the living room afloat in scraps of painted paper, the scattered and ineffectual teacher - gone, all blissfully gone!
Then, Stuart and I spent the weekend in Edmonton. TOSS (The Outdoor Show and Sale) was on, and somewhat disappointing as usual, but we did pick up a larger tent for car camping with a 100+lb dog. (We'll need a larger backcountry tent too, but she won't be up to those kind of hikes until next summer at the earliest, so thankfully we don't have to buy two tents this year!) We got our hair cut, put up a black out blind in my parents' guest bedroom and visited with his parents for a while. We also discussed this summer's camping possibilities on the drive home and made a bunch of reservations this morning.
Last night I stayed at Megan's house, so that I could drive Ella and Myles to their respective day programs. Thank god Mom is driving up to do that for the rest of the week - I think a puppy is all the responsibility I need or want! Not too mention that Ella's bed is not particularly comfortable. Grandma is staying with us tonight, before heading to Strathmore tomorrow and I have clients three night running. Stuart is off to play FOW on Thursday and I think I may hit the gym and head straight to bed.
